The project "A multi-century perspective of the Sala megafire: understanding risks for future large fires in Sweden" received 3.9 M SEK for 2016-2018.

Establishment of the NordicDendro NOVA network
In the fall 2012 cooperation of several research labs in the Nordic countries resulted in creation of NordicDendro network, financially supported by NOVA. The purpose of the network is to promote development and use of dendrochronological methods in the environmental sciences and education across the Nordic area.
