Dendroweeks

To address an increasing interest to tree-ring studies from different parts of scientific community, the DELA is actively involved in running Fennoscandian dendroecological fieldweeks, Master/PhD level intensive course aimed providing student with first-hand experience in dendrochronological methods. Laboratory was the principal organizer of first three fieldweeks held in Sweden and Russia, and also contributed to the last, the 4th fieldweek held in As, Norway. Since the time of the first week (Lövåsgården, Grövelsjön, Sweden), more than 50 students and researchers attended this course. Currently we are in the process of organizing the 5th dendroweek (see below).
